Giovanni Strizzi Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Giovanni Strizzi (Ottawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 6, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Giovanni Strizzi to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasqualina and Luigi of Italy; his former wife Rosa; and his brother Antonio (Maria) of Ottawa. He is survived by: his children, Luigina (Mario Bellisario) of Winnipeg and Nicolino (Anna-Maria) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Elena (Blake), Rosanna (Stephen), Cristina (Mike), Maria (Aman), Ayva-Marie Rosa, Giovanni Luigi and Nicolino Stefano Jr.; his great grandchildren, Luca, Leo, Theo, Roman, Ariana and Isabella; his sisters, Filomena Santucci (late Antonio) of Italy and Assunta Schieda (late Antonio) of Ottawa; and his spouse Swansea. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C3H1). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
