Gilles Poirier Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilles Poirier (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Celsa Morante; his children, Pier-Luc, Marie-Catherine and Royce; and his siblings, André, Francine and Norman.

Guests are also reminded that face coverings must be worn, social distancing must be practiced and respected and to refrain from usual expressions of sympathy such as shaking hands, hugging and kissing.* For those unable to attend, the service will be Live Streamed starting at 2:00 pm.
