He was predeceased by: his parents, Henri Couvillon Sr. and Fernande Osborne; and his brother Henri Couvillon Jr.. He is survived by: his spouse Diane Dicenso; his children, Sébastien Boucher-Couvillon (Mélissa Ethier) and Vincent Boucher-Couvillon (Vicky Angel); his stepdaughters, Nathalie Guilbeault and Chantal Guilbeault Millette (Jonathan); his stepgrandchildren, Corey Crabtree, Brandon Crabtree, Patrick Beauregard and Maxime Beauregard; and his siblings, Pierre Couvillon (Line Lauzon), Nicole (Guy Leblanc), Lise (Michel Bigras), Anne (Roger Larocque) and Chantal (Brian Avon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In memory of Gilles donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
