We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Gilbert Scharf (Ottawa, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gordon (Sharon), Joy (Gordon Meldrum) and Brenda (Dave Rushton); and his parents, Elisha Scharf and Hazel Scharf.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Scharf (Albert); his children, Joey (Kim), Adam (Heather) and Barbara; his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Owen, Harper, Avery, Veronica, Crystal and Jennie; and his siblings, Wayne (Karen), Melvin (Sharon), Marlene (Butch Leader) and Gail (Bob Biickert). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Daley Family Funeral Home (6971 Bank St, Metcalfe, ON K0A2P0). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel.
