Germaine Peters Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2024, Germaine Peters (Ottawa, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Germaine farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Germaine is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her husband Larry; and her daughter Lynn. She is survived by: her daughters, Kim (Harry) and Jill (Paul); and her grandsons, Mason and Gage.

A memorial service and celebration of her life will take place at noon, on August 3rd, 2024, at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road, Ottawa (at Roosevelt), the family ask that those attending RSVP by visiting Germaine's tribute page at http://www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com. (please scroll below) and bring their favourite Germaine story to share.

In lieu of flowers, donate to your favorite charity, eat pie with a friend, enjoy a martini, have a day at the beach, or commit a random act of kindness.
