She was predeceased by: her former husband Edward; her significant other Michael Quinlan (Micky); her parents, William Pittman (Scotty) and Mildred Pittman; her siblings, Bill Pittman (Agnes) and Alberta McKenzie (Doug); her stepfather J. A. Patrick; and her stepsiblings, Quint Patrick (Margaret) and Sally Sigurdson.

She is survived by: her children, Guy (Myrna), Gail Faddies (Brian), Todd (Kim) and John (Lucy); her grandchildren, Darcy, Trevor, Ethan, Alyssa (Phil), Paige, Chris (Dawn), Karen (Jo), Brent (Emma), Danielle (Lindsay) and Pallah; and her sister Frances Franks (Elmer). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

donation in memory of Gerry, her favourite charities were the Canadian Melanoma Foundation and Alzheimer Society Canada.
