He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Mary (Wurtele). He is survived by: his wife Willene "Billie" (Maddox); his son Robert (Hao-Wen Kong); his grandchildren, Amber-Rose and Caleb; his brother John; and his niece Lily Maase.
