With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Georgia Diane Monaghan (Ottawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 4, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Don Monaghan; her parents, George Wilson and Ellen Wilson (Nellie); and her sisters, Lilian, Joyce, Doreen and Ada.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna (Steve); her grandsons, Nicholas (Daniela), Cameron (Noémie), Curtis and Jacob; her great grandchild Julian; and her sister Roseann Longpré.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C3H1). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
