He was predeceased by: his wife Lydia Megalli Wassef (Lily); his parents, Mathilda Yacoub Copty and Kamel Wassef; and his sisters, Yvonne and Ellen.
He is survived by: his son Patrick Wassef (Matty Gyenis); and his grandchild Thomas James Wassef.
