He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurel Matheson and William Allen. He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Allen (Gee), George Jr. Allen, Mario Allen, Diane and Christopher Allen (Jenelle); and his siblings, Hector Allen, Brian Allen, Leila Turner, Joy Allen "Blossom", Daphne Campbell "Succum", Beverley Allen-Gayle (Clifton) and Errol Allen. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and many friends.
In memoriam donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
