He was predeceased by: his parents, James Groves and Mildred Groves (Girouard). He is survived by: his children, Angel Paterson (Mark), Tammy Carruthers (Doug), Shannon (Tracy), Logan and Prairie; his grandchildren, Bailey (Jaime Goldman), Chelsea, Clark, Savannah (Nolan Winter), Brittney (Elliot Keller), Kylie (Mark Singer) and Jessica; his stepgrandchildren, Ashley, Kaitlin, Laura, Nathan and Alexis; his great grandchildren, Owen, Ava, Nevin Winter, Kacen, Adley and Cove Keller; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Alexis, Peyton, Ivy and Emery; and his siblings, Shirley Sullivan (late Jim), Alice and Katie Kenny (Francis). He is also survived by friends and cousins.

Due to the pandemic, a private funeral will be held at a later date.
