He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Anna; and his siblings, Tony, Bill, Mary and Zenith.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Alan (Margo) and Dana (Tim); and his grandchildren, Cameron, William and Robyn. He is also survived by his extended family and numerous friends.

His Parkinson's diagnosis 12 years ago did not deter him from his daily walks or helping his children with gardening and yardwork.
