He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Pecora and Antonietta Falbo; his siblings, Rocco (Rosanna) of Italy, Esterina Urso (Vincenzo), Maria Scarpelli (Giuseppe) and Anna Cuconato (Luigi); and his sisters-in-law, Rosina Arnone (Orlando) and Maria Granieri (Giuseppe).

He is survived by: his wife Lucia; his children, Pasquale (Claudia Mallinson), Antonietta (Jean-Michel Comtois) and Salvatore (late Rosie Ferrarotto); his grandchildren, Alessandro, Lucia and Laura; his sisters, Gina (late Emilio Gervasi) of Italy and Rita Cesario (Raffaele) of Ottawa; and his siblings-in-law, Lina Filicetti (late Antonio), Gilda Castiglione (Giuseppe), Franco Arnone (Lyse), Alberto Arnone (Jocelyne) and Silvana Cuconato (Luigi). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to the current pandemic situation, a private entombment will take place at this time, with a memorial service to be held at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Villa Marconi Long-Term Care Centre or Parkinson's Canada.
