He was predeceased by: his parents, Ishmael Khan and Casseran Khan; and his brothers, Nazrudeen (late Rose), Kamrudeen (late Joyce) and Roland.

He is survived by: his wife Brigid; his children, Susan (Tim Kehoe), Christine (Jim Tayler), Yasmin Khan (Edmund Graziani), Jacqueline (Michael Cooligan), Stephen and Natasha Khan (Sacha Rahaman); his grandchildren, Sarah Kehoe, Patrick Kehoe, Kathleen Tayler (Dan Hoang), Michael Tayler, Fraea Graziani, Esme Graziani, Fiona Cooligan, Jordan Khan, Roxy Khan, Joshua Rahaman and Bibianne Khan; his sisters-in-law, Susan Rajack (late Clyde) and Jean Khan; and his friend Clarence Madhosingh.
