Frederick Graham Shipman Obituary

We bid farewell to Frederick Graham Shipman (Ottawa, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 8, 2024 at the age of 102. Frederick Graham touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Leita Bertha Shipman; and his daughter Judith Susan Matthewson. He is survived by: his daughter Barbara Shipman (Gene Dejneka) of Edmonton, AB; his son-in-law Ian Matthewson of Russell, ON; his grandchildren, Leanna Olson (Jarrod) of Calgary, AB and Andrew Dejneka of Calgary, AB; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Francis and Elise Olson of Calgary, AB.; his siblings, Dorothy Legenza (Frank) and Ray Shipman (Millie); and also Fred. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tubman Funeral Homes - Garden Chapel (3440 Richmond Rd, Nepean, ON K2H8H7). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
