With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frederic McCarthy (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on January 12, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Donald, Robert, Aileen and Anne. He is survived by: his children, Marc (Karen Creppin) and Suzanne (Daryll Lecour); his grandchildren, Krista, Jason, Daniel and Patrick; his great grandchild Colton; and his sisters, Janet (Bill Turchan) and Kathy Lasell. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

In memoriam donations to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, or the Make a Wish Foundation appreciated.
