He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Rohn; his brothers, Ken, Don and Ralph; and his parents, Andrew Cowie and May Cowie.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Sandra May (Beverlee Sabourin). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
