She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Blyth Norton; her parents, Ruby Grace (Cairns) and Harold Ernest Maple; and her brothers, Alec and Clifford Maple.

She is survived by: her children, Brian (Bev Keough), Frank Jr. (Dawn Keough), Paul (Penny Stapledon), Mark (Cathy Henderson), Sheila (Tony Ginley), Howard (late Sharon Larkin), Leigh (Paul Nielsen), Lori (Ken Adkin) and Carl (Trudy Raeburn); her grandchildren, Stephanie, Tara, Matthew, Julie, Jay, Wendy, Christopher, Alison, Kevin, Erin, Kurt, Jennifer, Lisa, Kelly, John, Scott, Curtis, Carey and Colin; her great grandchildren, Kendall, Asher, Reese, Jessalyn, Everett, Kyler, Blake, Meghan, Jackson, Madelyn, Callan, Jaden, Kariss, Joryn and Sloane; and her great great grandchild Caine.

Memorial donations may be made to Bruyere Hospital, which provided exceptional care during the last weeks of Frances' life.
