With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fern Boyd (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on June 14, 2021 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fern Boyd to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Garfield Boyd; and her siblings, Gerald, Lorne, Freda, Elizabeth and Thomas.

She is survived by: her children, Garfield (Lynne), Wilson (Ann), Joyce (Brian Davis), Ellen Jane (Mike Delaney) and Brenda (Arnold Yach); and her grandchildren, Susan (Colin Sharpe), Michael (Andrea), Brent (Claudine), Adam (Kelly), Sarah (Stephane Charlebois), Laurie (Carl Fredrik Hurtung), Mark Davis (Alex), Nancy (Brian Lepack) and Robert Yach (Laurie). She is also survived by extended family and many friends.

Due to Covid restrictions a private service will be held.

Donations can be made in memory of Fern to University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation.
