She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Salim Assi and Saada El-Khoury; her spouse John Saïd; her stepchildren, Albert and Norman Saïd; her siblings, George (Maria El-Asmar) of Ottawa, Fares (Siham Saikaly) of Lebanon, Joseph (Marie Makhoul) of Lebanon, Leila (Joseph Dagher) of Lebanon and Maroun (Sawsan Al Ghazal) of Lebanon; and her siblings-in-law, Nick Saïd (Jamal Anbar) and George Saïd (Laurence). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
