She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Nixon; her brothers, Gordon Allen and Ken Allen; and her siblings-in-law, Irwin Perkins, Donald Cameron and Jane Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Bev Nixon (Linda) of St. Thomas, Donna Nixon of Ottawa, Glenn Nixon (Penny) of Dunvegan and Lois MacNaughton (Don) of Dalkeith; and her sisters, Lillian Perkins of Essex and Helen Cameron of Maxville.
