It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Szabo (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eugene Szabo to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Denis (Karen Fox), David and Karen (Steve Hale); his grandchildren, Thea, Cole Szabo, Madeline, Natalie Hale and Nick Fox; his sister-in-law Ann; and his brothers, Louis Szabo and Robert Szabo (Jill). He is also survived by his sister-in-law Virginia Over, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
