With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ena Karolyn Hayes (Ottawa, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eveard McCormick and Ilene McCormick; and her siblings, Hugh (Margaret) and Theresa (Francis). She is survived by: her husband Douglas Hayes; her children, Tracey (Paul) and Derek (Juniper); her grandchildren, Mikaela, Sibyl and Sydney; her nieces, Maureen, Marilyn, Joan, Nancy and Katie; and her nephew Lyle.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Complex (1250 Trim Rd, Ottawa, ON K4A3P7). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's United Church (2557 Ch. Old Montreal Rd, Ottawa, ON K4C1A1).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Andrew's United Church in Cumberland, Parkinson Canada, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
