She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Smith and Beatrice Smith; and her siblings, Jean (Leslie McMillan), Roberta (Erwin Laughren), Isabelle (George Lamb) and Ebert (Marjorie Smith).

She is survived by: her daughters, Ruth (Robert LeBreton) and Joan (late John Biro); her stepchildren, Beth Balharrie (Michael) and Paul Balharrie; her granddaughter Lisa (Kevin Haime); and her great grandchildren, Jake (Melissa) and Jackson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
