She was predeceased by: her nephew Sean Ward. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Charles Shaver; her sister Susan Ward; her children, Andrew Shaver (Paul Sobol) of Toronto, Christine Shaver (Stefano Sonsini) of Ottawa and Matthew Shaver of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Lorenzo and Luca Sonsini; her close friend Dr. Jim Wong; and her niece Katherine Ward (Razvan Nicolae). She is also survived by cousins, in-laws, and her many friends.
