It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Yardley Hopkins (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on July 24, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hopkins and Kathleen Hopkins; and his child Elizabeth Oxlade. He is survived by: his son Jon; his daughter-in-law Tammy; his grandsons, Mitchell, Joshua and Rylee; and his daughter Rowan Hopkins (Rhian Davies).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke foundation or the Ottawa Humane Society.
