With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward David Yakabuskie (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on May 30, 2024 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward David Yakabuskie to pay them a last tribute.

“In loving memory of Ed Yakabuskie, Please accept my most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. I moved to the city 20 years ago to go to University. I was referred to Ed’s Auto from a colleague. I had no family in town but he took care of me and my car as though we were family for many years. He gave me lots of great advice over the years. I appreciated his service and our many chats. He will be greatly missed by many in the community.”

“to Ed's family: Sending you deep condolences on the passing of Ed, a wonderful guy. Ed was my trusted mechanic for many, many years and we had many wonderful conversations over the year. As my parents had retired to Barry's Bay, we would also talk about life and families there, too. Last year I had the privilege of drawing a family portrait as a surprise from Ed to his wife, Louise on her birthday. Ed, you are already missed. Gone from this life too soon.”
