He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Shepheard; his children, Allan (Donna Petersen), Cindy (Ernst Domitrovits), Randy (Ingrid Wootton) and Shawn (Christine Cheung); his grandchildren, Tyson (Jordan), Kristien (Julie), Breanna (Matt), Cassandra and Ashley; his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Brooke, Charlotte, Judith, Bradley and Mirabel; and his pets, Hercules and Spartacus.

Due to COVID-19, a private family service will be held at a later date.

Donations can be made to the Ottawa Hospital (Civic) or the Ottawa Humane Society. Ottawa Humane Society Ottawa Hospital Foundation.
