With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Jonathan Carswell (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sons, Mark (Anna) of Almonte and Glen (Lea) of Ottawa. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Lanouette-Carswell; his daughters, Margret Bercovitch of Ottawa and Rebecca Walter of Kenora; his grandchildren, Allen Carswell, Douglas Carswell, Emily Francis, Cory Bercovitch, Leah Bercovitch and Finlay Walter; and his great grandchildren, Poppy Carswell and Odin Francis.
