With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas Hugh Forsyth (Ottawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 3, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald Forsyth and Edna Forsyth; his brother Garry; his former wife Patricia (Brownell); his daughter Cynthia (Micheal Turton); and his stepson Robert.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Douglas (Joanne Wylie) and Patricia (Dale Stevenson); his stepchildren, James (Cait Dwyer) and Jacinda Bain (Mark Wilson); his grandchildren, Steven (Andrea), Jason (Cassidy), Alana (Devan), Matthew Turton, Kyle, Adam Fosyth, Kathryn and Benjamin Stevenson; and his stepgrandchildren, Shannon (Jose Javier) and Liam Bain.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9).
