It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothea Skinner of Ottawa, Ontario, born in Chapleau, Ontario, who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Donald Boyd Freeborn; her parents, William Mascoe and Lucinda Mascoe; her siblings, Harold Daniel, Wilbur Frederick (Flora), John Arnold (Muriel), Marion Elizabeth (Eddie) and Eileen Margaret (Norman); her daughter Elizabeth Dawn Bonnie Campbell; her son-in-law Ron; her stepchildren, Diane Chase (Barry) of Dartmouth, NS, Carol Calow of Amherstview, ON and David Skinner of Ottawa; her grandson Steven Campbell (Stacey); her great grandchild Mady of Waterloo, ON; and her stepgrandchildren, Sharon Chase (Mike Dort) of Dartmouth, NS, Sandra Chase of Dartmouth, NS, Susan Donald (Ross) of Cole Harbour, NS, Jeffrey Calow (Rachael) of Boston, Massachusetts, Catherine Hudson (Steven) of Amherstview and Wade Skinner of Ottawa. She was also cherished by 23 nieces and nephews.
