It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dora Caroline Broughton of Ottawa, Ontario, born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, who passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Colonel G. W. L. Nicholson (Gerry) and Edith. She is survived by: her husband Bill; her sister Sylvia van der Weg (Gerrit Jan); her cousin Ric Tetrault; her children, David (Trish Macleod), Karen (Tom Johnston) and Ellen Lamarre (Chuck); her grandchildren, Claire (Will), Gerald, James, Nathan (Meetika), Sam, Chris (Brooklyn), Paul (Morgan) and Thomas (Aliya); her nieces and nephews, Lynn, Michael, Kathy, Paul, Christine and Liesje; and also, Roger (Marie-José Dealberto) and Sandra. She is also survived by her many cousins and friends.

As Dora requested, a charitable donation to Diabetes Canada would be much appreciated in lieu of flowers.
