Donald John Alfred Brawley Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald John Alfred Brawley (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Jean and Winfield Edward Brawley; his sister Barbara Bernier; his brother-in-law Gerald Bernier; his sister Joan McGinnis; his nephew Chris Bernier; and his brothers-in-law, Gerald Rowsome and Glenn Hogaboam.

He is survived by: his wife Jean; his daughter Wendy; his son-in-law David Cunliffe; his brothers, Jim Brawley (Shirley) and Mike Brawley (Michelle); and his siblings-in-law, Jack McGinnis, Erma Rowsome and Betty Hogaboam. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion.

In memory of Don, contributions may be made to the RVH Research Institute at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario.
