He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; and his sister Mary Louise. He is survived by: his children, Scott, Laura (Antonio), Joy (Chris) and Sean; his grandchildren, Joan, Lily and Johnathan; his sister Heather Robbins; and his sisters-in-law, Hedy Bjornson and Lilja Holm (Cliff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Before the pandemic began, George was diagnosed with dementia, presenting as Alzhemiers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dementia Society of Ottawa & Renfrew County or a charity of your choice.
