It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Francis Muir of Ottawa, Ontario, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Francis Muir to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Mary (Tompkins); and his siblings, Jack Muir, Jimmy Muir and Barbara O'Connor. He is survived by: his daughters, Patti (Phillip Pfeiffer), Susan (Tony Hannas) and Catherine (Kelly Woods); his grandchildren, Nicos, Graedon Pfeiffer, Georgi and Piper Hannas; and his great grandchild Lachlan Pfeiffer. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A very special thank you to all the caregivers, especially Dr. David Malek and Dr. Michael Malek, for our parents' care throughout their lives; Dr. Grimes for his Parkinson's care; and, Dr. Galbraith for Don's care at Foxview Retirement Community.
