He is survived by: his wife Doreen Elizabeth Dingle; his children, Ken and Nancy Akehurst (Steve); his grandchildren, Robyn (Derek Pierce), Matthew (Candice Moore), Melanie and Riley; and his great grandchildren, Brooke and Jackson.
