He was predeceased by: his son Scott. He is survived by: his wife Sharma; his sons, Sean (Susan) and Brett (Robyn Paton); his grandchildren, Austin, Regan and Jack; his siblings, Bob (Chris), Linda (Peter Torbet), Ted (Elizabeth), Richard (Pam) and Kathy (Kelly Detheridge); and his siblings-in-law, Kara (Glenn Bennett) and Randy Rutsch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. James the Apostle Church (3774 Carp Rd, Carp, ON K0A1L0).
