He was predeceased by: his child Stu (Sheri-Lynn); and his sister Judy MacMillan. He is survived by: his wife Theresa "Terry"; his children, Tom (Carol) and Brenda Borracci (Giuseppe); his grandchildren, Marisa, Shannon, Caterina, Giuliana, Jennifer and Gillian; and his sister Eileen O'Leary.

“Aunt Theresa, Tom and Brenda, Danielle and I are saddened to here of Uncle Don's passing. We loved him very much and he will be missed by us both. He was often present at our family events for which we have a lot of good memories. For example Karl and Yeni's wedding in Jamaica or being present at every one of Mom's many birthdays.
