He was predeceased by: his brother Pradip. He is survived by: his wife Suravi; his daughters, Mousomi and Shampa; and his siblings, Deepak (Tripti), Alok (Lily), Sukla, Sipra (Dulal) and Swapna (Sailen). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nephews.
