He was predeceased by: his son Michael; his parents, Verna and Ralph; his sister Linda Mae Gentle; and his sister-in-law Tanya Preston (Warren).
He is survived by: his significant other Sandy; his son Robert; his siblings, Larry (Debbie) and Pat (John); and his siblings-in-law, Cathie Young and Earl Young (Butch). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Many thanks to the staff at the Queensway Carleton Hospital wards AC (Medicine) and C3 (Alternative Care Unit) for their care and attention to him during COVID from November 2019 until his transfer to Peter D. Clark-Long Term Care in February 2021.
