“Very sorry to hear of David passing, as I was when I heard he was sick. David was one of the very first people to greet me when I arrived at DFO. He was in a different branch and a completely different floor. It was a gesture I never forgot. We had occasion to work together on many things, and I got to know him more personally when we occasionally travelled together ( e.g., Boston, Rome, Korea). We was smart, wise and a gentleman. And very funny. It’s tragic when we lose people like David too soon. And of course evermoreso for his family. My sincere sympathies to the whole family, especially Danielle. And in fact to all his friends too. He will be missed by a lot of people. RIP David.”
