As we bid adieu to David Lee's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration David Lee has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reginald Lee Martin and Helen Violet Martin (Waddington); his children, Heather Frances, Ian David, John Cameron and Cameron; his wife Sandra "Sandi" Smith; his stepdaughter Carrie; and his cousin Lee.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kelly's Funeral Home (580 Eagleson Rd, Kanata, ON K2M1H4).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation or to the Community Foundation of Ottawa to be added to the Ian David Martin fund.
