David Hastie Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Hastie (Ottawa, Ontario), born in Carleton Place, Ontario, who passed away on April 21, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Osie and Norma. He is survived by: his significant other Frances Smith; his brothers, Ken (Rena) and Stan (Elizabeth); and his children, David (Valerie), Deborah, Barbara (Gary), Robert (Donna), Steve (Faye), Greg (Linda), Kim (Sean) and Lisa. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, & so many friends.

A private service will be held for the immediate family in light of covid restrictions.

Donations to Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital are welcome in his memory.
