Ruth Noel wrote a sympathy message

“So sorry to hear of David’s passing; he was my neighbour growing up in Yarmouth. . Even though he was five years older than me, he always had time to say hello. I remember him teaching swimming at Lake Milo. My strongest memory was the day he was accepted into the RCMP and we were all so excited for him. In latter years, when he biked to Yarmouth he always came by to say hello to my parents which they appreciated. Thinking of all of you at this time. Ruth Gillis Noel, Toronto”
