She was predeceased by: her parents, Rachel Lance and Sam Lance; her husband Daniel Smith; and her siblings, Delores Zacharias, Suzanne Lapointe, Lillianne Ladouceur and Larry Lance.

She is survived by: her children, Jeanne Dubeau (Jocelyn Bercier) and Daniel Smith Junior (Brigit Kirkpatrick); her grandchildren, Joey Dubeau (Natalie Liberatore), Alexandre-Kirkpatrick Smith (Kim Bouchard-Poulin), Vanessa Dubeau (Michael Bradley) and Christopher Kirkpatrick-Smith (Rebecca Dinel); and her brother Bart Lance.
