He was predeceased by: his parents, Roderick Currie and Frances Currie (O'Leary); his wife Lucette; and his brother Roderick. He is survived by: his siblings, Kevin (Delores MacIntyre) and Betty Johnston (John Hugh) of Sydney, NS; his sons, Eric Ottawa (Tammy), Patrick Ottawa (Cathie) and Mark Surrey (Nathalie); and his grandson Matthew of Oromocto, NB..

Due to the Covid restrictions, a private family service will be held.

In memoriam donations may be made to Ottawa Carefor Health & Community Services.
