He was predeceased by: his parents, Johaness Lyngard and Pearl; his wife Mary Higson; and his siblings, Jack, Dale, Doreen, Daphne and Dolly.
He is survived by: his children, Evelyn (late Edward), Cecelia, Allan, Dawn, Delores (late Robert) and Darlene (late Perry); and his grandchildren, Michelle, Paul, Carrie, Laura, Amanda, Steven, Melanie, Rebecca, Patrick, Kimberly, Trevor, Tyler and Andrew.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dal's memory to Br. 618 of the Stittsville Royal Canadian Legion.
