Dalbert left this world on August 1, 2024 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johaness Lyngard and Pearl; his wife Mary Higson; and his siblings, Jack, Dale, Doreen, Daphne and Dolly.

He is survived by: his children, Evelyn (late Edward), Cecelia, Allan, Dawn, Delores (late Robert) and Darlene (late Perry); and his grandchildren, Michelle, Paul, Carrie, Laura, Amanda, Steven, Melanie, Rebecca, Patrick, Kimberly, Trevor, Tyler and Andrew.
