It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daisy Jillette (Ottawa, Ontario), born in Petites, Newfoundland, who passed away on June 18, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Griffin and Blanche Griffin; her husband Robert Jillette; her siblings, Beulah Fudge (Charlie), Viola Mauger (Raymond), Hedley Griffin (Georgie) and Roy Griffin (Sadie); and her brother-in-law Raymond Mauger.

She is survived by: her children, Marie Golding (Steve) of Caledon, ON, Lorraine Rutter (Rick) of Vegreville, AB, Bob Jillette (Lise) of Ottawa, ON, David Jillett (Rosalie) of Doyles, NL, Susan Jillette (Peter) of Mosher Corner, NS, Mary Mailman (Alan Violette) of Greenwood, NS, Tom Jillette of Winnipeg, MB, Anthony Jillette (Theresa Piovesan) of Waverley, NS, Louis Jillette (Andrea Gloor) of Kanata, ON and Lisa Dawson of Land; her brother Bert Griffon (Janet) of Cole Harbour, NS; and her sister-in-law Sadie Griffin of Barss Corner, NS. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
