She was predeceased by: her sisters, Naomi (Groves) and Geneva (Baird); her daughter Heather (Fogo); and her friend Francis "Ebbie" Lavoie. She is survived by: her sibling A. Y. Jackson; her husband Robert Hamilton; her children, Jane (Ellingson) and Alex; her friend Lionel Strange; her grandchildren, Adam, Amy, Chloë and John-Allan; and her great grandchildren, Cael and Fern.
