Claude Drisdale Obituary
We regret to announce the death of Claude Drisdale on January 25, 2020 at the Ottawa General Hospital at the age of 70 years. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Danielle (Ethier); his twin daughters Claudette and Michelle both of Ottawa, his brothers Marcel (Denyse) and Marc (Nicole) of Kapuskasing, and one sister, Colette Drisdale (John McClellan) of Erinsville. As well as his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and cherished friends.
Claude “sold bubble gum” for 44 years. He was involved with the Knights of Colombus, enjoyed fishing and curling. When they purchased their cottage at Baie Lefebvre, Claude quickly took to the new lifestyle. You could usually find him in his gazebo. In the last few years, he enjoyed assembling jigsaw puzzles with his neighbours.
He was predeceased by this father, Normand and his mother Thérese.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 8th at Notre-Dames-des-Victoires church, Kapuskasing, ON at 10:30 a.m. with Father Sébastien Groleau officiating.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. No flowers please.
Since arrangements were made in Ottawa, we are unable to post the obituary in his hometown. Kindly share this post with your friends.
